The Northumberland coast has some of the largest and most spectacular beaches in the UK, and Beadnell Bay is one of the best. We came upon it after walking the coastal paths from Embeleton. We had to leave the beach to avoid disturbing the Tern Colony. just before we crossed the bridge and rejoined the beach, I was most impressed by this view framed on the right by flying Terns of the beach stretching all the way to the little town of Beadnell
