Oils on canvas, 12 x10"

We were so fortunate to get really hot weather on a trip down to Saunders Foot in Pembrokeshire, when we came upon this little cove from the Coastal path towards Tenby. A really lovely part of the world with high heavily wooded cliffs framing large sandy beaches

The tide was in and only the edges of the little coves were accessible, but the white sands beneath, turning the water turqouise green, and the strong sun and shadows looking down from the our high viewpoint was just lovely and you could have been anywhere in the world. The contra jour that I love so much in my work , meant this just had to be painted
