An impression of Castlerigg valley looking towards Helvellyn (possible meaning: pale yellow moorland) is a mountain in the English Lake District, the Helvellyn range, is a north-south line of mountains to the north of Ambleside, between the lakes of Thirlmere and Ullswater.

I never attempted to capture the valley in perfection but more of a stylised impression with the focus being my trademark dramatic sky, I only hinted at cars on the road and farmsteads. So for the perfectionists out there I offer my apologies

Print sizes to be determined, but if prints are required drop me a line and we can sort something out.
