This painting of the the Harbour at Whitehaven from Parton beach, with both lighthouses featured, was commisioned by local artist Natalie Burns for her Whitehaven Collection.

The Solway Firth is known for its fabulous lightshows and this painting is no exception. My use of heavy impasto paint and splatter effects was used to hopefully create a glow that will shine out even in low light.
